South Shore Child Guidance Center Home Based Crisis Intervention Program (HBCI)

South Shore Child Guidance Center provides short-term intensive home-based services to families in order to prevent the psychiatric hospitalization of a child or adolescent. Nassau County residents between the ages of 5-18, who are at risk for psychiatric hospitalization, and are eligible for the Home-Based Crisis Intervention Program. They respond to referrals within twenty-four hours.
