Green tea has been shown to have numerous health benefits. And now there's a new one. Thanks to a novel partnership with the YAI Network, Nobu Restaurants will donate 100 percent of the proceeds from every cup of green tea sold throughout the U.S.

From New York City to Las Vegas and Miami to Waikiki, Nobu's 10 restaurants will make a difference in the lives of individuals with autism who receive support from the YAI Network.

"Generosity and hospitality are a reflection of Nobu's values," said Tracy Nieporent, Director of Marketing and Partner, Myriad Restaurant Group. "Just as we work to provide an exemplary dining experience, we also help where we can in the communities that we serve."

Both Tracy and his brother Drew, owner of Myriad Restaurant Group, have sons with autism. After some discussion, they recommended the YAI Network as the beneficiary of green tea sales from July 1-Dec. 31, 2015, "because (its) network of autism and related services is extensive and effective," said Tracy, whose son Matthew receives residential support from our National Institute for People with Disabilities of New Jersey.

"I have seen the good work that you do through my involvement over many years, and am gratified that Nobu is able to join your effort and provide assistance," Tracy said. "Nobu's green tea is wonderful and popular. It is my hope that our guests will drink a lot of it, thereby providing assistance to an organization that does such meaningful work, while making a positive difference in so many lives."
