Family Reimbursement

Reimbursement funding for eligible families to help pay for goods and services which are not reimbursed or obtained through other sources. 

Applications for family reimbursement are reviewed by a parent committee and original receipts for goods and services purchased are required. There is a special camp fund for Brooklyn residents who attend a Department of Health (DOH)-approved day camp in New York State.

Applicants must have OPWDD eligibility and reside at home with family in Brooklyn, Manhattan, or Queens to access this service.
