Update to COVID-19 Medicaid Eligibility Processes During Emergency Period
Medicaid case end dates were or will be extended for individuals whose cases were supposed to end from October 2020 through March 2021. Further information is available in the link listed below.
If a person has an adverse change in their Medicaid since the COVID-19 public health emergency started, they should contact their local Department of Social Services and request that their Medicaid case be fixed.
If the local DSS is not able to assist, they can contact the Medicaid Helpline at: 1-800-541-2831
NYC COVID-19 Vaccine Finder
The Vaccine Finder is a one-stop site for New Yorkers to find their nearest COVID-19 vaccination location. The Vaccine Finder can also provide New Yorkers with information to schedule vaccination appointments. To get started, type in an address, ZIP code, or click “near me” to find a list of nearby provider locations. You will also see links and phone numbers to schedule an appointment. Each site manages its own schedules and appointments. This tool is intended help make site information – including scheduling options – easily accessible to New Yorkers.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention COVID-19 Vaccine Information
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have added information to their websites about the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.
Notify NYC American Sign Language Message: COVID-19 Vaccine

The NYC COVID-19 Vaccine Command Center is a dedicated interagency effort created by the Mayor's Office to coordinate vaccine distribution throughout the city. Getting a COVID-19 Vaccine: A Social Story for People with Developmental Disabilities
The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical created a social story for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to help explain getting the COVID-19 vaccine. The COVID-19 vaccine is a medicine that prevents people from getting COVID-19. Like most vaccines, the COVID-19 vaccine is given by shots using a needle. This social story can help people understand why it’s important to get a COVID-19 vaccine and what to expect.
What New Yorkers Need to Know About COVID-19 Vaccines

The INCLUDEnyc Fair is New York City’s largest annual fair for young people with disabilities, where you can connect with summer camps, recreational programs, supports, and services from the safety and convenience of your own home. The fair will be held on January 30 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.

COVID-19 Vaccination Pre-Registration for New Jersey Residents
New Jersey is offering pre-registration to residents to reserve a spot to get the COVID-19 vaccination. NJ residents can also use the website to find out if they are currently eligible to receive the vaccine.

Eligibility for the COVID-19 Vaccine in New York State
New York residents can use this website to check their eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccination and can sign up to be messaged (via SMS or e-mail) when they are eligible to be vaccinated. The website will also tell you where you can get vaccinated if you are eligible to receive it.

New York State COVID-19 Vaccine Program
New York State has created a webpage where you can find the latest information on the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine. The first New Yorkers to receive the vaccine will be high-risk hospital workers (emergency room workers, ICU staff and Pulmonary Department staff), nursing home residents, nursing home staff, followed by all long-term and congregate care residents and staff, EMS workers, other health care workers, coroners and medical examiners. Staff at every hospital will have access to the first vaccine allocation.
